Aims and Scope

FlexMat主要刊载先进材料和柔性电子领域的最新材料科学研究进展，聚焦柔性电子功能材料，涉及材料、化学、生物、物理、光学工程、电子信息、生命科学和先进能源等学科交叉领域材料研究和应用最前沿，涵盖柔性电子、有机电子、塑料电子、印刷电子、生物电子、智能电子、能源电子、健康电子等方向的新材料、新概念和新应用。

FlexMat will bring readers the latest progress in materials science for flexible electronics and other flexible applications. The journal will publish carefully selected, top-quality Communications, Articles, Reviews, Perspectives, and Editorials at the cutting edge of the chemistry, physics, processing of functional materials for flexible electronics, covering concepts such as organic electronics, plastic electronics, printed electronics, bioelectronics, energy electronics, etc.

The journal will notably support fundamental studies that improve understanding of the material science relevant for flexible, stretchable, deformable, portable, wearable, and printable devices, aiming to achieve new technologies that lead to low-cost flexible materials and devices with advanced functionality.
